Mobile Engineer
Peak Systems is looking for an experienced mobile engineer who is passionate about designing and developing stunning, well-built mobile applications, products and tools for our clients and company. This role is ideal for individuals who can transform ideas into extraordinary experiences, understands the importance of mobile innovation, and has a successful track record of building and leading mobile projects.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for the strategy and execution of software designs and unit testing
- Build architecture, core specifications and code review processes
- Provide technical consulting and troubleshooting to support existing and future application development
- Work directly with the clients to collect, validate, reconcile business requirements, define and validate technical options, create recommendations, and document functional/technical specifications
- Apply critical thinking and analysis to complex problems
- Work in rapid development cycles
- Educate and execute best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional team of designers, project managers and UX engineers
Must Haves:
- Three to five years experience developing native apps for the iPhone in either Objective-C
- Database experience on mobile devices
- Adept at providing detailed documentation
- Understanding of MVC development patterns
- B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
- Adept at debugging and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of platform standard interface controls and design
Nice to have Skills:
- Android experience
- 3d graphics experience
