The BMQ site lacked any coherent way for users to consistently update the content. As a result, content was spread inefficiently across nearly 1,300 pages. Broken links, outdated information and redundant documents were common. The lack of consistent information architecture and the outdated graphic design made the site user-unfriendly as well.

Solution

Peak removed redundant, outdated content and implemented a new and consistent page layout, with task-oriented architecture and navigation scheme. Peak also created a custom content and document management system and content database.

Results

The new site’s content and document management capabilities allows authorized users to easily update the site’s content and add or remove files. The new architecture and removal of old and irrelevant content makes the site easier to use, streamlining tasks and allowing Qwest's Business Markets personnel more direct access to the tools and information they need to successfully do their jobs.
