Flash
When Flash was introduced in 1996, it gained almost immediate popularity. This popularity continues today. However, Flash is frequently misused. Many sites are built entirely in Flash even though search engines have a hard time indexing it. Many sites have Flash intros even though surveys have shown that the vast majority of users dislike them.
Flash can be extremely compelling if it’s used properly. Flash can be used to create 3-D animations for product demos and tutorials, create Rich Media Applications and integrate video into web pages.
